Ardnahoe Distillery is the youngest distillery on Islay and was established in 2018. It is situated on the north east coast of Islay, hunkered down below Loch Ardnahoe and above the ripping tides of the ‘Sound of Islay’. There are spectacular views from the huge glass windows of the distillery across the ‘Sound’ to Jura and the mighty Paps. The Gaelic translation of Ardnahoe is ‘Height of the hollow’
